Alyeska Resort

... was somebody that knew.

And then when, the next day, we went down and drove, uh, before departure, we drove down to this ski resort called Alyeska, which is this really nice-

Mm-hmm

... high-end ski resort they've built.

The program is being heard there.

It's early in the morning, as we know, but – And we did a live broadcast from the Alyeska Resort.

Our sons were with us on that trip.

I can still remember the terrific time we had with Mark Weekland and his team.

It was God awful.

I'll never forget getting out of the car at Alyeska and the car started sliding down the parking lot.

It was that temperature.

And I said, why are you here? So I left and went back, and I was transferred to Fort Ord, California, Carmel, Monterey.

Going through this memory box, there's a picture of he and I my parents took at the harvest ball.

I was like, "Why do I still have this photo?" Threw it away, and then there were some other memorabilia in there with his name on it and address, Alyeska ski resort.

Mm-hmm.

And threw it all away.

We're going to Girdwood.

We're going on the North face hike and we're starting at the Alieska resort right there at the bottom, which blueberry festival happened to be going on.

That was lovely, but we didn't actually spend any time there.

This hike was epic.
