Aly Wagner

After playing, she coached, earned a master's in sports administration at Northwestern, and became a familiar voice, calling games for Fox, NBC, ESPN, and Apple TV.

In 2023, she co-founded Bay FC with Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborne, and Ali Wagner, backed by Sixth Street's record institutional investment in women's pro sports.

The club reached the playoffs in its debut season with the most wins any NWSL expansion team has managed, and in 2025 drew 40,091 people to Oracle Park.

She serves on the boards of the US Soccer Foundation and the Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative.

... a player approach.

Yeah.

Um, the idea for Bay FC started in 2020 when Angel City launched, and um, you know, there was a bunch of our former national teamers who were involved in the ownership group and, um, me, Ali Wagner, Brandi Chastain, and Leslie Osborne, we didn't have ties to Los Angeles, but I remember when that announcement came in and we're like, "Wait a minute, why don't we get to be a part of this? This is so cool."

Leslie texted me.
