I'm your host and I am excited to introduce you to Jason Deegan.

Jason is our alumni department manager and is a Hoffman Process graduate.

He has some really exciting things to share with you today from an alumni perspective, but also we're really here, Jason, to get to know you.

So welcome to the podcast today.

So, you know, first and foremost, as you shared, I'm a Hoffman Process graduate, right? So I did my process in 2019 and was so clear leaving that experience that being in service in the world was part of my sacred purpose, you know, however that manifested.

And I distinctly even remember thinking, Being in the ceremony of integration dinner and walking up to Liza Ingrassi, who was the CEO at the time, and asking, how can I be a part of this? Just like having that initial hunger to be part of this larger mission, right? I then applied to become the receptionist.

So I signed up for whatever kind of role was available at the Institute immediately after that and have served within the organization for the last six years, moving from answering the phones to overseeing all of our virtual programming within the enrollment department, spending a lot of time working within the enrollment department, and then More recently, being promoted into this new position of really spearheading our alumni department and really anchoring and strategically prioritizing how we continue to walk with graduates after the process.

Right.

They're coming for the Alumnae pin.

Oh my gosh.

We helped him with it.

Alumni reunion was huge there.

He gets up on the podium.

We have to have a milk crate so he can step up because he's a little short.

She does editing and technical work.

But in the last couple of years, with the emphasis on really expanding our alumni offerings, I now have a couple more teachers working with me who can really focus on that because they're The process, of course, is important, but we also want to have that ongoing support.

He's hopefully people really are leaning into this new alumni platform that's coming out.
