Alps Tour

I will ask you one question though.

What happens now? outside of Q School Stage 2 because you have turned pro you've played in the Irish Open what can you do now as a pro status because you don't have status on let's say the Alps Tour or the Clutch Tour or the DP Tour can you get invites can you can you get access to some of these competitions or are you just going to wait now until Q School Stage 2 and just get your head in order That's kind of something

I'm going to be working on a lot like this week is just trying to like get into some event or maybe two events before QSchool because it's definitely important to stay kind of tournament ready.

And like I want to play a couple of events before QSchool.

Um, but definitely basing yourself in America and, and trying to negotiate the, the lifestyle changes is, is important to make your way over there.

You know, Matt, it, you won, you know, six events on the Alps Tour, and I love looking at where guys-

... started because I think one of the other things, and you tell me how it was for you, you know, getting comfortable, you know, this is a job now.

I m- I mean, that's such a good question.

I, I wish younger aspiring kids would be able to ask a question like that to someone like myself who's- Gone from the Alps Tour.

Not, not a great player, right? Not, not...

Um, I'm slightly concerned that he's retired, but again, I can't find any retirement announcement, so you know But he hasn't played, uh, an OWGR-sanctioned event since the end of 2022.

Um, but you know, you look back to his early career, he won a couple of times on the Alps Tour.

He earned a Challenge Tour card, uh, where he played for a couple of years.

Um, then he earned his DP World Tour card via Q School, managed to keep it for the next six seasons.

I mean, again, this is about we're a bunch of sickos.

I mean, no one cares about the Alps Tour, but I care.

Right.

Okay.

He's got that trademark accuracy, but he's putting well now.

He started his career on the Alps tour.

Alps Tour form, well worth looking at this weekday for obvious reasons.

He won three times on the Alps Tour in 2022.

He was born across the Swiss border in Biella.

So he loves this part of the world.

But you do pronounce it Tom Veyron.

But he's a promising player.

But yeah, he hasn't really been able to get it going since.

He's played a little bit on the Alps Tour in 2024, then the Clutch Tour the last couple of years.

But there is some positive news.

He got his first win on the Clutch Pro Tour just over a year ago.
