I got a little disillusioned with that because people work very hard on one problem for years and they may not even find a solution, right? So, but however, a lot of my math major friends worked in quantitative finance.

And so I took an internship at a hedge fund called Alphadine.

And what I learned from that is it had the same quantitative flavor that maths did, but things moved much faster.

People were just as smart.
