Video appears to show confrontation after reported sexual assault at fraternity house near U Chicago.

A 21-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted at the Alpha Epsilon Phi, uh, or, yeah, I think it's Phi, uh, fraternity house near the Chicag- or near, [gags] excuse me, near the University of Chicago in Hyde Park, according to police and a police report obtained by ABC7.

Police said the woman, a student at the University of Illinois Chicago, attended a fraternity party Saturday night and drank three alcoholic beverages before she began experiencing periods of blacking out while dancing with, uh, the man, later identified by, uh, friends as her attacker.

According to the report, both eventually ended up in a bathroom inside the fraternity house.

Aaron, this was near the University of Chicago, right? What happened?

At the AEPhi house just off campus of the University of Chicago, Brad, fraternities are not officially recognized at the elite school.

But it was Saturday night into early Sunday morning when a woman says she was attending a fraternity party at the AEPhi house when she says she began feeling, uh, kind of unwell.

She had been drinking three cans of some alcoholic beverage, she told police, but it seemed to her friends that she was more intoxicated than that.

Mm.

I mean, what do we know about everyone else who's allegedly on hand?

Well, officially we don't know who they are.

In fact, AEPhi, the fraternity, says that those who were said to be standing around laughing or encouraging the activity were not officially part o- of the fraternity.

I would not know the Greek alphabet if it wasn't for my time in, um, AEPhi.

Uh, look, this is coming from a sorority sister.

I was Greek.

I was in one.

I had a great time.

One of my best friends in the universe was, is one of my sorority sisters, uh, Laurie, LML, from AEPhi, and all of o- those AEPhiers know what LML means.

It's supposed to be a secret, like our secret little code.

Meanwhile, thank God I stopped that, because God knows what would've happened.

But AE Phi, there was, like, a little sister, and within one day I was kicked out because I didn't follow any of the rules.

So I don't understand Greek life.

That was not my college experience at all, and it wasn't...

One of the main reasons they don't want to is because it makes housing so much cheaper for the university.

So if you've got a son and he decides that he doesn't want to go to college, well, if you take him to a college campus and he sees the Alpha Epsilon Phi fraternity house and that looks like a lot of fun to him, all of a sudden he might be more eager to go to college and he might say yes to the urging of his parents.

And then he shows up there and maybe lives in the dorm for a year.

He rushes that fraternity and ends up living in that fraternity house.
