Almost Cut My Hair

But that's not the way, you know, CSN made records.

So I think there was a little bit of that going on during the early Déjà Vu sessions and, you know, um, when they cut Almost Cut My Hair, for example, you know, Crosby's vocal on that is really raspy.

Neil loved it, you know, Stills didn't like it at all and wanted him to redo it.

The first version of Woodstock, uh, Neil thought Stills' vocal was great and powerful, and Stills later on listened to it and changed it, put a new vocal, which Neil wasn't crazy about.

And all four types of music all blended together.

So whenever we heard a song, uh, we, we knew exactly how to record it.

Almost cut my hair.

It happened just the other day.
