Warsh did say policymakers still aim to bring down inflation to its 2% annual goal, but a key measure this week shows the current rate is still 3.7. White House teleprompter operator Gabriel Perez will pay more than $172,000 to end a federal investigation into alleged well-timed prediction market bets about President Trump's speeches.
