So if you would start and just share that with our audience.

Yeah, you know, I start my story in different ways based on who the audience is.

And I feel like y'all can just handle anything, this audience.

So I will start it this way.

I had, I grew up in Houston, Texas, standard American diet, standard American household products, body care products, all the, all the things that we now know we probably should have done differently.

And I actually had very bad body odor, like in kindergarten.

Okay.

So how do you help somebody to start to switch that mindset around? You know, this is good for my health and I need to start thinking about living non-toxically.

I know Branch Basics came out of a personal journey.

Yeah.

You and I have that commonality, right? I mean, our kid, we're suffering or our kid is suffering and we're like, okay, no, this isn't working.

We need to dig more.

Yes.

Root cause approach.

Yes.

And, you know, just any tips as a, as a parent that is really looking at root cause for their

[laughs] That's not what you said you wanted to do when you grow up?

[laughs] Exactly.

You know, some people are out there and they, they see an opportunity.

I think it's awesome.

That was not us.

We were super naive when it came to the business side, and we were excessive on passion when it came to educating people on removing toxic products from, from their home, and that really went back to my health.

And I, I'd like to claim that I'm kind of the glue that brought the three founders together.

So I was curious if you could share with us some ways that you use Branch Basics products in your house, in and around like the area of food mess.

Tell us a little bit about your story.

Yeah, so I grew up in Houston, Texas, and standard American diet.

My, my mom, you know, wore the perfume.

We did the soy formula with the Houston tap water.

Um, she always says, you know, "If only I knew what you knew, you know, as I'm watching you raise your kids." And that's actually why we started our company, to prevent people from one day saying, "Why didn't somebody tell me this?" It's not rocket science.

Um, so I had my first period at 13, never had another one.

Fast-forward to high school, I go to an endocrinologist in Houston, and I'm diagnosed with the worst case of polycystic ovarian syndrome that he's ever seen, so thousands of cysts on my ovaries.
