Allen Estrin

So how did it all get started?

So the idea of PragerU actually came about from Alan Estrin, who is the producer of the Dennis Prager radio show.

And he realized that Dennis Prager has a gift i call him an intellectual giant he's not just physically big but he has this ability to explain things that are so important in very short vignettes because he's been a radio talk show host for so long he's written all these books so he always had to explain some difficult ideas in very short sound bites and so alan estrin and dennis prigger said well What if we could teach what should be taught? We're complaining all the time about the education system.

We're complaining all the time about the culture.

We're complaining all the time that we feel like we're losing America because Americans don't understand what makes America so great.

Like, hi, Dennis.

No. I've heard you say that Alan Estrin is the most disciplined man you know.

And since I assume you are pretty disciplined yourself, that must be high praise.

You have no idea what high praise it is.

Self-discipline is rough.

And I, first of all, let me tell you something.

Alan Estrin is definitely, has more self-discipline than I do.

In fact, compared to him, I am a bum.

It was great, by the way, just great.

Alan Estrin, his producer, was there.

What a cool guy he is.

I've gotten to know Dennis, his wife Sue, Alan, his wife Susie.
