Yeah,
11:34
well, it was definitely a different world than it is now.
11:37
If you think that there was no internet, no social media, no cheap telephone calls, the only way to communicate with home was with a letter and then wait a month to get a letter back.
11:49
So, you know, I was actually 17 in two years, two weeks when I came over the first time.
11:54
But it was definitely a culture shock.
11:59
And also, you know, for a young kid, I probably should have been home with my parents.
12:03
But my family situation didn't allow for that.

And And how has that shaped you? Because obviously, you know, even though you can't be on the races all the time, when you are there, you're still quite, you know, effective.

For Remco and for Lipo, who are going in as the co-leaders, what are their main sort of superpowers as I guess it's called in the world these days? Like what are the things they are particularly good at that maybe we could keep an eye out for as we watch them this July?
13:20
Without knowing Lipo so well and only having watched him and heard about him, I think one of his really good traits is that he's relaxed.
13:32
He doesn't want to be in the limelight, that he's easy just missing out on all of that.
13:38
He's race savvy, which I've seen this year.
13:42
He knows what to do in the race and is prepared to wait for it all to happen.
13:49
I think that sort of sums up Lipowitz to the best of my knowledge.
13:55
And on the other side, I've always been curious about Remco Evenepoel and how his persona is, how he fits together, what makes him tick, and what's the best way to get the maximum amount of Remco Evenepoel.

i think uh you've got to give yourself kudos to you know just the way your philosophies but how it also transcends cycling and i think the position you're in now with uh red bull bora hansgrove people that you've got around you and your experience i think there is a lot of value in that and that must feel make you feel proud that uh you are actually still having quite a profound impact in modern day cycling
