Allan Jones

It's a shame to waste it on the dead.

When businessman Allan Jones saw that beautiful tomb with that beautiful view, he thought, "This is the perfect place to make Tall Betsy's tomb." And it really just kind of ended up working out that the timeline added up to where if Flora was Tall Betsy, her family would've been moving out of the area at the time she would've passed away, so she would've just suddenly disappeared, and nobody knew much about her, so it kinda made it even better.

Allan Jones loved the story about Tall Betsy.

That's always what he had wanted to dress up for as Halloween.

He grew up, you know, hearing the stories.
