Alienware

So, yeah, it was definitely going with the streaming kind of laptop.

At the time, I had an Alienware.

Yeah,

it's okay.

It's very, like, I assume the people in Ion Storm Austin also had this, like, ridiculous setup.

It's also got kind of Alienware colors going on for you.

Yeah, yeah.

2000s um yeah this is a game that you can buy on both steam and gog i had it on one of them i think i had it on gog and then i bought it on steam um i'm pretty sure they are the exact same version and both versions crashed the same way when i tried to run them vanilla so you like you we can talk about the ethics of selling games that do not run maybe a different day but i thought that was kind of messed up that neither one would work vanilla i mean i'm on windows 11 you know modern drivers yada yada yada but um i couldn't find anything on gog that would help me circumvent some of these problems or patches but thankfully there is a pretty healthy um uh you know, fan community patch stuff.

Unfortunately,

I didn't even win the Alienware TV.

Alienware PC, they were giving away.

That's crazy.

Yeah.

They literally had an item drop that you could turn in and get a chance to get an Alienware PC.

That's insane.

I don't know.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So Alienware, like the computer company building?

Yeah, yeah,

because they need a PC.

Someone's gonna buy this thinking they got a full computer.

This looks like the old Alienware, like, desktop with the slanted GPU.

Very concerning.

I hate that case so much.

Either they can afford the value they're after, maybe they want a higher value, but at that moment they can only afford what comes close to that until maybe they upgrade or things change and able to splurge.

Like I love Alienware laptops, but for now it's a goal.

I used to have one and that's why I love

them.

I'm going to get there.

So until I get there, I'm going to use the laptop I have now, which pretty much helps me achieve most of what I want to achieve.

But Alienware is where I'm going to be at pretty soon.

But yeah, so the goal is people to buy into that and to get more tangible and practical.

You got to get yourself like a, like a, like a cheap, like a $700 Asus gaming laptop or something like that to play some of this stuff.

I also brought, I don't know why I brought this, but I looked it up and I guess they're almost considered antiques now, but I have my original Alienware chassis.

Oh yeah.

And

those who are listening, it's a cartoon guy of a very sallow-faced, strung-out

coder hunched over his Lenovo laptop or Alienware, it looks like.

Don't hate

on Lenovo or Alienware.

Oh, no, they're great.

Again, are these people okay? Clearly, they're not.
