Alien abduction

So in the past couple of years, they put an entrance in the Simpsons queue where you enter through the Simpsons queue and it takes you to the first tent, one of the old tents.

And this year, that tent is going to be Invasion Alien Abduction.

My most anticipated original house.

And let me tell you, James, I've seen pictures of the facade that they built.

Which, which they'll probably

do.

So invasion, alien abduction, the grays definitely didn't come in peace, but you will leave in pieces.

enter this haunted house in the middle of an alien abduction and scramble through the wreckage of a ravaged Southwestern homestead, surviving viciously probing tentacles and making contact with horrors from the dark and distant reaches of our galaxy.

In my opinion.

And then the last house we got to of the night was Invasion: Alien Abduction, and this one was in the queue of, um, Simpsons.

Yes.

So it was over there.

Um, so this one was okay.

Um-

So this one I was really hoping was gonna be really good, 'cause the whole idea here is like there's a alien abduction happening in a, on a farmhouse, basically.

Mm-hmm.

going to get all of it but before we do i just want to talk about the emmy awards because and this is interesting they actually have something to say about aliens but before we get to that just to set the table the creative arts awards this year are september 5th and 6th and the big prime time telecast is september 14th that's on nbc so depending on when you're listening to this they may be ahead of you or behind you but they're nearby I also just want to point out that I have a personal relationship to the Emmys that goes back a long way.

In 1997, back when Dark Skies was being canceled by NBC and they went off the air, I also got elected to be governor of the Television Academy.

And what I have heard is that Chris Carter loved that show, was inspired by that show, was not doing a remake of it, but... wanted to create something in that vein.

And that allowed basically the pilot of, if I remember, of X-Files was very UFO centric.

It had alien abductions and whatnot.

But I'm guessing because Chris Carter had this affinity for the Night Stalker, it allowed him to have that split vision.
