And, um, he was there for surgery, and, and then part of his tall tales was, like, how rich he was and how, you know, how interesting his life had been, how much traveling he'd done.

And he had injured himself, and instead of waiting for surgery in Canada, did a little medical tourism, and he had his, uh, leg repaired, uh, somewhere in another country for very little money.
