I'm Dr. Alicia Morgans.

And I'm Dr. Chuck Ryan.

We're oncologists, and we've spent our careers working to understand cancer.

We'll break down what's new, why it matters, and how it points the way forward.

In terms of many of the metrics that we think about to show something might be better than what we've been doing before, this checked a lot of those, in fact, really all of those boxes to suggest that it would be better than chemotherapy.

So Alicia, you know, one of the things I love about what we're doing here on The Good News About Cancer is we have an opportunity to highlight work that's really coming to the fore or reaching its culmination many, many decades after initial discoveries were made.

That's true.

The AUA is just getting started, so hope you're enjoying the meeting so far.

We hopefully have a chock-full session of the next two hours, and I want to introduce my distinguished faculty, David Morris, who's president of urology, go back to the, who's President of Urology Associates and Director of Advanced Therapeutics in Nashville, Tennessee, and Alicia Morgans, who's Director of Cancer Survivorship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Professor at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

And we're going to get started here.

We really appreciate it, and so I'm gonna turn the podium over to another close friend and colleague over quite a number of years, Dr. Alicia Morgans, who I introduced at the beginning.

She's gonna take us through castrate-resistant prostate cancer, and then we're gonna do some audience response questions, and we're gonna involve you all in helping to answer those questions.
