So this is one of those stories that starts off being kind of contained and quite small.

It's about two best friends who embark on a business venture together, but one of them holds a very dark secret, and the other has no idea for years and years.

So their business is essentially a device that supposedly detects bombs, but what we discover is that this device is no more useful than one of those novelty golf ball finders, which people might have bought for people at Christmas.
