Alice Hardy

I think this is one of those films where it's less about the individual parts, and it's more about how all those parts came together and what we see now.

Alice Hardy is our final girl.

Adrienne King plays Alice.

Very no-nonsense, very Laurie Strode.

But Snow White is our first Disney princess.

She's also our dullest.

Whereas it feels like Alice Hardy is given something to do, even if a lot of it is running around in the woods in different directions.

Villains are always going to have an easier time being cool.

And I'm just excited also that instead of just focusing on Big Jason, who we all love, Big Jason, but this series is going to have a focus on Mama.

And also something cool about the first Friday the 13th, is that well for instance it kind of it's kind of very pro women if you will okay mama voorhees is is the antagonist the protagonist is alice Hardy, played by Adrienne King.

That's the girl who I grabbed in the boat, who probably hasn't forgiven me since then.

But yeah, it's the two women who battle it out at the very end.

Three, I think we're going to get introduced to another final girl.

So we know that in the original, you know, Jason, Friday the 13th, number one, we have Alice Hardy.

She's the main final girl.

And so I think we're going to get somebody else this season to kind of clash with Pamela, just because as audience, we need somebody else to root for besides the amazing, you know, Linda Cardellini.

We have Betsy Palmer as Mrs. Voorhees.

Adrienne King as Alice Hardy.

We have Kevin Bacon as Jack Burrell.

How about Kevin Bacon? Back from our

... for what eventually becomes the final girl.

To give more examples of, like, the moral purity, intelligence fighting back, so Alice Hardy, Friday the 13th, 1980.

So she's portrayed by Adrienne King, fits the criteria by being the only surviving camp counselor at Camp Crystal Lake.

She achieves this through resourcefulness.

[laughs] Yeah.

I have.

I, I would look at Alice Hardy as kind of my prototype of, like, a final girl, in my opinion.

Okay.
