In fourth position I've got the white-tailed eagle, [eagle calling] and this is because I was, um, very tangentially involved with the work by an artist who I wanted to tell everyone about.

Um, she's the most amazing sound artist and field recordist, Alice Boyd.

Many of the audience probably know of her, 'cause Alice does incredible work with, um, particularly anything that has to do with making a noise, making a sound.

She goes out recording the natural world with, uh, these binaural microphones, and then broadcasts that round the world on podcasts and radio, and threads it into her music making.

They brought them back into now being, breeding in the wild, and this is such an exciting change for the UK.

That's Alice Boyd, and i- yeah, from what I understand from behind the scenes, it was quite an adventure, 'cause she had to visit multiple nature reserves and, uh, get recordings of the bird in its natural habitat.

And I think, yeah, the, the song was called The Return of the White-Tailed Eagle, and it's a song of hope.
