And so when we lost everything, it was kind of like we had a moment to just be like, "Well, what do we want our lives to look like?" And I was like, "You know what? I don't actually fucking wanna work that much maybe.

Actually, I wanna go back to doing stuff that makes me feel really fulfilled, and actually maybe we should go somewhere else entirely and, and learn a new language or something." Like, it's very rare that people get an opportunity to do something like that as a family, especially when you have kids, 'cause you get really entrenched.

But when you lose it all, you've got nothing.

You've got like a bag, so you're like, "Maybe we should go to Spain.

Maybe we should..." You know what I mean? There's something really liberating about that and I think I've lived in a lot of different places.

My husband has too.
