the rare in particular i think has inspiration from the 33 stradale there's also a little bit of inspiration i would say from the disco volante which was a another alfa romeo supercar from about like maybe five or six maybe not five or six maybe about 10 years ago that was based on a Maserati so there's some I think there's some influence from there but so and I always say this but I judge how realistic a concept car is by the size of its wing mirrors like the size of the side mirrors and you can see look the good thing is that this concept does have side mirrors so so there is some intention that it has a little bit of closeness to a production vehicle but The side mirror is extremely thin.

BMW is obviously doing very successfully with the 9-Class, but, yeah, it's good to see that Alfa Romeo is trying to still be like, okay, yes, the car world is changing and it will continue to change, but we're still going to stay true to what makes us distinct, which is really important.

I hope they can continue their distinctiveness because, you know, at one point I do want to be able to buy a used Alfa Romeo Giulia, perhaps, despite the extreme cost of petrol around the world that, you know, maybe if they have um an electric julia like they were what was that they were going to they were in they were developing was it what was the rumor they were developing an electric stovio and julia replacements but then at the last minute they've sort of like canceled those because they realized that the demand wasn't going to be there and they've now they're sort of back to the whiteboard and trying to convert them into to support hybrid power trains or something.

all kinds of cars um I've my daily drivers as a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia it's the it's the four-cylinder uh but it's in a good color it's this Monte Carlo blue which is a sort of a dark blue color um and yeah that's you know I'd like to I'd like to get something more vintage uh maybe an Alfa maybe a launch or Maserati or something like that but need to figure out what it is and how to use it and what the purpose is and make some excuse to have it in.
