Alexander Mutiso

It, it, they went out really hard.

Like I watched the race and Zuhair and, uh, Mutiso were basically like exchanging blows for the first four miles until they got it down to the two of them, and then they kinda like settled in once they broke everybody, and it became like a, a very fractured groups.

And it was a tough race.

I mean, I watched the race live 'cause I was here in, in Europe, and it was like perfect timing for me.

I'm pretty sure he's a Ray guy.

But, uh, he, yeah, he beat Alex Mutiso who, um-

Yeah

... funny enough is-- used to train in Japan a lot.

She crossed the line over 2 minutes quicker than compatriot and last year's winner Sheila Chepkirui in second place.

American Zuheil Taoubi produced a brilliant kick in the final mile in order to win the men's race as he got the bet of last year's champion Alex Mutiso.

The pair was running side by side for most of the course before 31-year-old Taoubi surged ahead in the closing stages and held on to win in 59 minutes and 47 seconds.

He narrowly missed out on beating his personal best of 59 minutes and 41 seconds.

part. The fault line over the proposed reform of Nigerian football administration widened on Monday as the State Football Association chairman rejected a normalization committee and insisted that the leadership vacuum in the Nigerian Football Federation should be resolved from within the existing football structures.

The development emerged as FIFA and the Confederation of African Football continued consultations with Nigerian football stakeholders in separate batches in Abuja, with the different interest groups presenting sharply contrasting positions on how the reform process should be conducted.

While representatives of professional players, coaches and referees backed the reform pathway being championed by the National Sports Commission, the State Football Association chairman opposed the proposed use of an external normalization committee.

The FIFA delegation, which arrived in Nigeria on Sunday, began consultations with key stakeholders on Monday and was expected to continue the engagements on Tuesday before making recommendations on the country's football governance crisis.

I, um, yeah, I should have sent you the, the, the list.

There is, um, Mutiso, the-

Oh, yeah

... you know, same guy who finished-- who went for the win last year in New York.

KC

...

Mutiso.

Yeah.
