Alexamenos graffito

Alongside, there's another man.

He's called Alexa Menos.

He's got a hand raised in worship, and the graffiti scrawl says beneath it, Alexa Menos worships his God.

That's what the Romans thought of the Christians.

They worshipped an ass.

So that to me is really incredible because it connects to Jesus performing miracles and we get his title as well.

And then we've got some other things like something called the Alexamenos Graffito, which is the earliest depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus.

And it was found in Rome on the Palatine Hill, about 100 AD.

And it was made by people mocking Christianity.

I think it's, uh, Axami- um, Anaxamenos or something like that.
