And even though Sade Baron is not yet considered a tight end stopper, if you have linebackers against Ferguson in coverage, and if Sternad and Singleton are struggling, it's like, okay.

I think the big thing that they have to do, the Rams, against that defense to make sure the rush isn't as impactful as it has been in the past is – Block those two inside linebackers in the run game.

Alex Singleton and Justin Sternide have been outstanding defending the run.

And something that I was surprised that Jacksonville didn't do a little bit more of is put the tight ends on the field more and try to get into their double team run game.

You hear us all the time talk about the duo run.

I mean, if we're talking after the game about the fact that Alex Singleton and Justin Cernat are the reason why the Broncos gave up big plays to Rams tight ends and couldn't drop into their zones and couldn't react properly when they were in coverage and gave up too many plays deep down the field.

That'll be really disappointing because this is one of the most obvious ways the Rams are going to try to attack the Broncos defense.

And so I think similar to the way that we saw this team miss a bunch of tackles in week one, we saw a lot of lapses from the linebackers in their zone coverage against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a lot of long developing plays.

I know the Broncos defense played very well against Jacksonville, but you got to be critical of the, of the little things as well for a defense that's that's as elite as this one is and And so a lot of those longer developing plays that Trevor Lawrence was able to hit, a lot of those throws went right over the top of Alex Singleton's head or Justin Sernad's head, right? So you want to make sure that these guys are getting the proper depth, that they're not getting caught in the mud, that their feet don't have cinder blocks attached to them, right? So they need to make sure that they are ready when they have to drop in zone, that the pass rush, if it doesn't get home right away, you got to start expecting that ball is going to be coming your direction.

You're getting enough depth.

the final drive, like closing out the game the way they did, sustaining the drive and not giving the Jags the ball back.

Like Alex Singleton said earlier this week, like that's the first time in his Broncos career that he's been able to relax on the sideline at the end of the game and just say, hey, the offense has got it.

They're just going to Wind this clock down and we're going to be able to walk out of here with a win.

Even how ugly it looked in the first half, like we dominated the second half.
