Alex Saab is a Colombian-born businessman with extensive ties to Maduro.

Acting President Delcy Rodríguez deported Saab in May in response to pressure from the Trump administration, which has pursued him going back to the president's first term.

They refer to Saab as Maduro's bag man.

A man arrested in the hanging death of a Black woman in Mississippi has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge.

Alex Saab, a close ally of ousted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, is expected to plead guilty in federal court in Miami.

Saab is accused of bribing officials to win contracts to import food during widespread hardship in Venezuela.

Alex Saab was a very close man to Nicolas Maduro.

He's a Colombian.

And he was extradited to the United States for the second time.

Well, that would, in a sense, answer any remaining questions.

I mean, Alex Saab has been deported.

The Cubans have been declared persona non grata, as have the Iranians.

Former close allies have been ordered off the park.

We've seen what's happening in Venezuela after the illegal kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife.

Also, the, uh, re-incarceration of Alex Saab, of which many of us campaigned for many years to have him freed.

We're seeing that the government of Delcy Rodríguez is sadly cooperating, uh, with, uh, Israeli Defense Forces that are on the ground, Israeli humanitarian forces that have come, uh, to, under the guise of humanitarian aid and support, but have begun the process of normalization.

And we've seen that neighboring Colombia has very rapidly expanded its ties with the, uh, Israeli regime after the loss of the election by the opposition and the ending of the term of Gustavo Petro.

So he comes from that idea of the right Of the, the, the wealthy to have their own security, and he was, as we know, as a lawyer, totally willing to defend those involved in both the paramilitary, but also involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.

I mean, he was the lawyer of Alex Saab, um, who was the money launderer of Maduro and is now extradited to the US.

I'm very surprised no one ever draws attention to this.

But, uh, clearly, his whole sense of what is, what is the law for, what is it, who does it protect, what...
