Alex Nation

All right, Dak, what's coming up today on the lowdown with low tide.

And what do you guys got going on over at Alex nation this weekend?

Yeah, coming up on the Lowdown with Low Tide today, we're going to be talking to Steve Lansky, the Friday staple on the show.

We're going to be doing Declanations.

We might even have a surprise guest joining the show.

I can't tease that one just yet.

And then Alex Nation, yeah, going to be watching the East and West Semis with bated breath, vested interest, and come back on Monday, recap those games, and look ahead to the West Final.

Awesome.

It's also calling on Airbnb to respect hosts' autonomy and consult them before making any changes.

But with cleaning costs rising and state governments hitting short stays with new taxes, is the shine starting to come off Airbnb for both guests and hosts? Alex Nation is a short stay specialist who owns her own Airbnb and manages other people's properties.

She joins me now.

Alex, welcome.

And it's also more bang for your buck if you are both guest and host and property owner, because we're not adding, you know, exorbitant fees of 17%.

I think it is better for hosts to have their own direct booking platform as opposed to purely relying on, you know, Airbnb, booking.com, VRBO, all those big platforms.

Alex Nation, thank you so much for joining us on The Briefing today.

You're so welcome.

How do you look at that?

So we've talked about this on Alex Nation, and my thing is, yes, you do put up numbers as the game goes on.

You do score as the game goes on.

And you look at that Hamilton game.
