But I think there's just something about seeing him go every other week and at home or you know have that have that presence um week in week out um so whilst it's not kind of make or break it does feel like i'm sure he feels like i want to just not you know kind of break my dislocate my shoulder or break my arm in the first five minutes of a european cup game you know it's it's heartbreaking for him really but i think there is something about It feels like not a point to prove in terms of his quality, but a point to prove in terms of the investment now made in him for this contract to kind of give us that Faletau experience, game in, game out, rather than kind of one game in, two games in, three games out.

And the other one I've got is Alex Mann.

just because I think he kind of came on to the scene really abrasive.

Everyone loved him.

It felt towards the end of the season, yet he obviously picked up an injury that he was kind of, it was what I think was initially felt like kind of short term, became a little bit longer term.

It felt like Botham stepped over him in Wales contention and for Cardiff while he was away.

And we know that Botham is just a great all-rounder, solid player, strong, athletic, maybe not as abrasive and in your face as Alex Mann.

But I think there's something this season about that competition in the blindside role, both for Wales and for, more importantly, for Cardiff.

What did we make of their performances in sort of a mixed window, I guess, Wales-wise?

Yeah, I mean, it was great to see Josh Adams get that try against the Barbarians, and I think probably answer a few critics slightly.
