Alex Lacamoire

The brilliant writers, they've arranged everything like within an inch.

I mean, it's like so, especially that camp, the, the Alex Lacamoire, Lin-Manuel camp is like, it's very, very precise.

Um, so all that's done ahead of time, and when you're in the pit, you are...

It's the craft of music.

[laughs]

Um, music, uh, supervision by Alex Lacamoire.

Hey.

And, um, just a fantastic cast.

Now it's, like, even more beautiful.

And I just went, and I said, I went down the stairs, and I opened the door, and, and there was Lin-Manuel and Tommy Kail and Bill Sherman and Kiara, and all of the people from In The Heights.

And, and then Alex Lacamoire was at the piano, and I had known him because I did a workshop of the first act of Wicked.

Oh.

Like, I had to focus on Angelica's bits, so I don't know anything else.

And I think my second week of rehearsal, Alex Lacamoire was on his, like, yearly visit to Hamilton.

Ooh, director.

Like, unbelievable music god was on his, like, yearly, just happened to be on his yearly visit, and he has one-on-one sessions with all the principals.

I loved it.

I did the, did a very tiny workshop where Lin and Lac, Alex Lacamoire-

Mm-hmm

... were just, like playing around, like s- seeing what they had.
