Alex Kidd

was correctly rightly replaced with our man sonic um And that's that.

Maybe Alex Kidd strikes me as one of those IPs that Sega's going to attempt to do an ill force outcome back up at some point in the future now they're reviving old IP.

Yeah, I mean, maybe.

Who knows? Maybe a gritty...

I'm like, that's actually a cool idea.

Like, you could do a...

Because isn't the story of Alex Kidd like he's a normal kid that gets sucked into, like, fantasy land or whatever? And so could you do one where he is...

Yeah, a young martial artist.

Nice.

Which had Alex Kidd and we had Sonic the Hedgehog and things.

And I grew up in a very small town in central Queensland called Capella.

And Capella was a very small town.

And then it breaks through the window and captures Princess Prin Prin.

and off it goes and then the game starts and just what a cool opening to the game it's like it really creates the atmosphere and it's really dark and it's like it's scary or it's like it's the perfect like monster game opening I love it and then it has the beautiful oh I love when there's a progression map in games So if you think Sonic on the Master System, Golden Axe, what else? Alex Kidd, Super Ghouls and Ghosts.

There's a progression stage, so showing you each level.

And when you complete one, you go on to the next map.

But...

It would either be Mario 1 or Alex Kidd, I think, was one of the first games I played.

Probably Alex Kidd, actually, because I think the area I came from was a lot of Sega.

There was still quite a bit in the Nintendo, but yeah, we did do a lot of Master System back in the day.

Nice.

It could have been a penguin land.

Maybe it was Alex Kidd.

It was like 89, 90.

It was right around that same time that the wrestling developed.

It has a few games.

There's like, I think there's four of them, maybe.

There's Alex Kidd in Miracle World, which is like the main, it's like the Mario for Master System.

Then they had Alex Kidd in High Tech World, which was an interesting, it was more of an adventure.

noise.

Yeah, or Alex the Kid.

I'm sure there was one with Alex the Kid built in as well.

Alex the Kid,

yeah, in Miracle World.

Great game.

They're bored now.

We had Alex the Kid.

On our Sega Master

System.

Like the president and the other humans have like those-

Yeah, yeah, grown-up Alex Kidd.

We established this.

Uh-huh.

Mm.

Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd.

Um, and then, um, Rachel Hoolihan says Lion King, Aladdin.

Oh my gosh.

Unicorn Overlord.

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World.

SMS and Genesis Brazil Exclusives.

Sega in 2002.

197 so it's going to be a a few games a few episodes off but uh this is the next

episode infinite war uh game for sega

Alex Kidd.

I'm just adding.
