Do you have any particular memories of watching wrestling with your family, talking wrestling with your family? What kind of experience can you share with us?
6:32
Oh yeah, like my parents really exposed me to wrestling.
6:36
I was about four or five years old.
6:39
I used to hear stories from my mom of, you know, her and her dad going to see Andre the Giant, you know, in person and seeing, you know, like the names I mentioned before, like even, you know, Mad Dog and Roji Vashon and Dino Bravo and all those kinds of guys but I got exposed to I guess mainstream wrestling at four or five years old you know just watching the Monday Night Wars being intrigued you know I had a babysitter who who told me all about WCW and Sting and all you know the grand the grand mythical sting that I had never experienced because I was too busy watching the WWF you know so you five six years old now flipping back and forth and just being around wrestling watching every pay-per-view falling asleep you know on the couch you know after the third match but watching it again the next day on a on a tape that we you know secretly press record on um but yeah just wrestling's always just been around and it's always been a part of who i am and i what I've kind of exposed myself to through wrestling, whether that's music and film and all that has all kind of stemmed from being a wrestling fan at such a young age.
7:57
Yeah, like anybody else, I've taken breaks.
7:59
I've stopped watching for chunks of time here and there, but it's always been a part of my life in some fashion or another.
8:06
So that's why when I decided to start training, it was an easy decision because it was one of those things where it was like, I've paid attention to this long enough.

So if you're willing to share some of that with us, talk a little bit about what that experience was like and maybe what you learned from working in the ring with what I consider the GOAT of Rock Solid Wrestling.
2:47
But for those listening, I'm sure they gotta be asking themselves, how did she make this happen? Like, how did she get into so many stores, and expand her product line, and start working with reps, and all these other things, doing all these shows? How did you make that happen in such a short amount of time?
3:02
I think that there's many, probably, facets of how I approached it that got me and the business to this point.
3:09
But a lot of it is hustle.
3:10
Absolutely is a humongous part of it.
3:14
I would say that reps have been a big part of it, too, but having a product mix that is really relevant has obviously been incredibly helpful.
3:22
And we say things that, you know, people think in their head a lot, and especially when we started in like 2015.
3:28
You know, it had been like about seven years after the recession.
6:32
[laughs]
