Alex Cintrón

Here's the problem.

There still hasn't been any news from the Rangers, no updates on Corey Seager, Josh Young, or Danny Jansen, who are candidates for surgeries.

I did check the social medias, as I always do, and it showed a recent photo of Corey Seager celebrating his son's first birthday.

And not looking like he just had surgery.

I do remember the whole staff selection last year after he was hired.

kind of taking a long time.

There wasn't a lot of communication, not just with the media, but also with the candidates.

Mike Maddox had sporadic conversations.

I know you guys are Might be laughing about that, but considering the injuries, the way they were able to piece that together and get some production from some young guys.

Now I know Alex Cintron as the assistant hitting coach was a longtime Astros hitting coach and You know, yeah, he was there in 2017, but he probably and has been given, deserves and has been given a lot of credit for the Zeke Duran emergence.

So has Luis Areta, who was his manager in AAA.

Purdue, I think Ron could shore up the issues with the defense.

And he found ways to be on winning teams and help teams.

You know who was the next shortstop after him? I think his name was Alex Cintron.

Cintron.

Cintron.

Was it Alex Cintron? What do you think of Anthony Volpe back in the big leagues playing second base?

I'm not a fan of that Yankee organization

in

What's taken Ezekiel Duran's game to the next level?

Uh, I think the, um, I don't wanna give too much credit to a coach, but again, I think his relationship with Alex Cintron, who came over last year after a number of years with the Astros, where he had great relationships with guys like Carlos Correa, and most recently Jeremy Peña.

I think that's been a big, a big part of it.

I think he got a little bit buried with Bruce Bochy here because he didn't really perform offensively, and I think Bochy lost a little bit of confidence.
