Alex Campbell

She was a girl on a stool with a guitar and an amazing voice and a real personality that was greater than she was.

She'd been mentored by a, a wonderful chap called Alex Campbell, big, burly, bearded Scotsman with a massive voice and a massive personality.

He'd taken her under his wing and encouraged her.

She'd also fallen in with Dave Cousins from The Strawbs, and they'd spent some time with her as a vocalist, mainly in Denmark, and made an album.
