Yeah, I think when I got the call that I'm playing or whatever.

And whenever you're not performing the best, sometimes you have to just keep going, number one.

But two, sometimes you have to look in the mirror and say, hey, what can we do better? And any time you want to just take the focus level up a couple extra notches, not try harder by any means because that doesn't always work.

But just, hey, just have a little bit of extra focus.

I mean, we're approaching the halfway point of the season.

How much knowing that you guys have a little extra room, margin of error because of the standings and how far you're ahead right now plays into all that?

Do you feel like you guys can be better at that?

I mean, I think overall there's always room to improve.

Yeah, well, first credit to Muntz.

Great at bat, getting on base.

And coming in, you know, green light there.

So, you know, we're willing to, you know, obviously you don't want to be stupid, but trust the scouting, trust your eyes.

And, you know, got the look that we wanted and, you know, You know, ended up, you know, there's a reason why I guess he's only got a couple picks in the last few years.

But, yeah, I mean, lucky when you work out in your favor.

in the ninth inning sacrifice fly by andy pa has close play at the plate the ball was cut off for some reason and you got your foot on home plate emphatically when you're getting closer to home plate obviously with the new rules what do you think in there

What were the messages to you guys?

Yeah, I mean, they were just saying, "Hey, we, we're here 'cause we wanna win." And, uh, we, uh, the Dodgers have established a culture of winning, treating players right, treating families right, doing the little things right, and it all adds up to excellence.

And so it doesn't surprise you when you finally get to come in the doors and experience it firsthand.

Uh, it's truly, uh, truly special to put on the uniform.

And, and I mean, and then the fans are so passionate.

I mean, we're out here in AZ and they're all lined up, going crazy for us and, you know, on top of that, obviously the parades and just being way more recognized around.

It's super fun and really appreciative of them.

How important is it for you guys to be involved, I guess as much as you wanna be, in what's going on with the, you know, the union that, that protects you guys?

Was that just you being you, or you, were you like, "Okay, I gotta be somebody different now than with the Dodgers"?

Yeah, no, I'm, that, I was...

The message was really clear once I got here.

It's like, "Hey, we got you because we like what you do.

And so keep doing you." And that really just took the pressure off of me.

Um, 'cause you know, when your name gets called and they're like, "You're going to the Dodgers," I'm like, "The Dodgers are the best team in baseball.

They're the prohibited World Series favorites.

Is there anything specific that you're working on, something that maybe you struggled with that you're trying to do better at, or something that you do great at, you're trying to do even, even better than great at especially?
