I can't see anyone with the variables that he has, other than Dionisi because of Watford tax.

But things just seem too nice at the minute at Watford, despite them not really doing much in the table.

But I go with Phil Parkinson because expectation, money spent, and they, my goodness, they leak goals.

Watford, I mean, their bench, they had eight players, two of them were goalkeepers.

Dionisi having a little rant about a lack of depth in that squad, which we obviously knew when the window shut, it's not been ideal for them whatsoever.

So they're a little bit concerned, aren't they, at Vicarage Road?

Yeah, and quite rightly, to be fair, that there is a serious lack of depth.

And the sad thing is, The Watford faithful, as I've reiterated over the last few weeks, have seen a lot of quality in Alessio Dionisi.

They've really taken to him.

They think he's a really, really good coach who's got them playing a good brand of football.

There's no-one to come in to replace these players, and they're being run into the ground at the moment.

Dionisi came out and said that Matty Pollock's tired, Hector Kipriani's tired.

They've literally played every minute of competitive football so far, and you've got to think...

During pre-season, we had barely any players.

So you've got to think they've picked up so many minutes as well.

And it's non-surprising to see that performances are starting to dip as well due to fitness and people maybe carrying knocks as well.

I think Dionisi alluded to Koulibaly carrying a knock.

Martin Pichero was carrying a knock for Preston but got out there and played and he ended up picking up More of an injury, which means he's probably out for a bit longer.

And when they're out, the dearth of opportunities that we have to either rest or to properly train players because they're having to fill in gaps left, right and centre.

Yeah, and it's to Dionysus' great credit that Watford haven't been pulverised by anybody.

Again, even today, we've lost 2-1.

People look, people don't necessarily look and remember that result in, you know, the middle of next year or whatever.

Really, we got hammered, you know, and Swansea away.

If Swansea perhaps hadn't taken a foot off the pest, you know, who knows what would have happened there.

But to Dionysus' credit, his key keeping going but he must be absolutely exasperated and to again you just have to look at the owner the chairman and the recruitment team and just say just why surely that is a valid question for any of the media the Watford media out there to ask right at the top of the tree to ask that question why has this decent manager been given such a threadbare unfit squad you have not done your jobs to give him the ability to do his and to the great sadness and I feel you know I feel so much for the Watford fans they're not turning they probably never will that there are just the apathy is there but the question that the Adam Drewies of the Watford Observer, the Jeffs of the BBC Three Cows, et cetera, should have the right to be able to ask the chairman, the recruitment team, and even the owner, who we know will never speak to anybody, do you believe you have given a decent manager the tools to do his job? And that is a fair question, because when you look at what we've got today, and again, before I say goodbye, I'll leave it with you again.

A come-from-behind win for Watford.

I mean, the manager called it a big win, Alessio Dionisi.

There are always big wins when you're Watford manager and you haven't won for a couple.

Right, because he would have been

They were awful.

They were absolutely awful for 17 minutes.

But in fairness to Alessio Dionisi, he made some changes in the second half that really did help to turn the game around.

And, you know, I think both of these teams are probably going to really just wait for that international break before you really see a true reflection of them.

What can he do from midfield for Stoke? And also you've got penalty potential as well.

I also think with Watford, I quite like Alessio Dionisi's Watford.

I like a number of their players, especially some of the new guys that come in as well.

I'm thinking the likes of Ika Bravo.
