Aleksander Lukin

This issue starts off with a flashback that tells us we are in Russia five years ago at the Kazakhstan border.

We appear to be in a rundown military encampment where, you know, the shady new bad guy, General Alexander Lukin, is currently trying to conduct a deal with Marvel's biggest Nazi piece of shit, the Red Skull.

Ha ha!

It's the most Red Skull plan of all time that

With the help of Fury, they look into what Crossbones said and figure Lucan for a likely suspect.

He's, you know, ex-KGB and now a major player running the Cronus Corporation.

Steve connects Lukin's mentor, Vasily Karpov, to a Soviet town that used to be right out of Salingrad, which was also named Kronos.

So we then get basically an entire flashback issue in 1942, where Cap tells Fury about his time with Karpov in Nazi-occupied Russia.
