Can you talk a little bit just about the respect and admiration for women's soccer in the United States and just like how that affects kind of your thinking about it, I suppose?

Yeah.

Well, I mean, the U.S. women, you know, from a national team level have always been at the forefront, right, since the early 90s.

They were, you know, we were really the first country that put a ton of resources behind the sport.

It has always really been here on the state side.

um you know you get just a ton of girls involvement on the youth side and so they've always had a ton of numbers but then you know really uniquely through just kind of the rules of um you know college sports and college athletics soccer became one of those sports that just was open to more scholarships on the women's side than the men's side the the more american sports kind of dominated the college scholarship world in terms of football basketball baseball um but on the women's side soccer became huge in terms of opportunity for girls to continue to play as they got older and move into kind of women's college soccer, which then created kind of unique opportunities to then, you know, have the kind of women's professional league became kind of an afterthought, which was really kind of strange for many years.

They had the W League, which is what my wife played in, which, I mean, was the highest level league at the time.

What are your kind of long-term goals for the women's team and for your involvement with the women's team?
