Alec Busse

Hey everyone, welcome into the Cyclone Alert postgame podcast.

I am Alec Busse, joined by Henry Ann in Iowa State Falls 8380 here on Sunday afternoon inside of Hilton Coliseum in a preseason exhibition scrimmage inside of Hilton Coliseum.

First public showing, Henry, that we have had for this Iowa State basketball team.

I don't think it's fair to have any drastic or major conclusions taken from today's exhibition.

Uh, plenty to get to with Madison coming up here in just a little while.

Also, Alec Busse from Cyclone Alert gonna join the show at about 5:10 tonight.

Had some breaking news in the Iowa State realm.

A couple different levels this week.

But plenty more to get to before that.

We got SportsCenter, Radio Iowa News, plus what you missed at work.

And then we'll chat with Alec Busse from Cyclone Alerts.

Iowa State not in action this weekend on the football field, but plenty to talk about in terms of Iowa State athletics.

[upbeat music] Welcome in to the Cyclone Alert podcast.

Alec Busse joined by Henry Annen today.

Basketball season is right around the corner.

Cyclone fans, of course, uh, TJ Otzelberger's team will take on Creighton in a public exhibition inside of Hilton Coliseum on Sunday.

we're gonna talk about the quarterback position i don't know When we have Bill Seals on, we're going to talk about the quarterback position.

When we have Alec Busse on, we're going to talk about the quarterback position.

You know what we're going to do next week? Well, next week, we probably will know who the starter is by the time we get Bill and Alec on.

But we're going to talk about the quarterback position.

Going to bring you two great guests, like always, here on the program.

We got Alec Busse from Cyclone Alert.

Had a chance to talk to him earlier today.

We'll preview tonight's matchup between Iowa State and BYU coming up in just about 30 minutes.

game

important.

On the flip side, the later game, Iowa State and BYU will talk about it here in just a moment with Alec Busse from Cyclone Alert, part of the 27 Sports Network.

I talked with him earlier today.

So that's at 4:40.

And then at 5:00, Alec Busse, he's gonna join us in his normal Thursday slot.

We're gonna talk a little bit Iowa State.

Busse was in the building last night in Hilton Coliseum for Tyrese Haliburton's return to Iowa State, return to Ames.

So pretty excited to catch up with Fran for the first time in a long time.

So that's coming up tomorrow.

Uh, Alec Busse is gonna be on the show with me for a couple hours because we're not 100% sure of Seneca's, um-

What's going on there?

And I think that's just what Iowa State needed.

This team isn't going to come home until Halloween when they play Oklahoma in the hopeful orange-black-Jersey combination off that Alec Busse came up with first.

I'm just going to give him some credit there.

But, yeah, like...

And, of course, read about it, read about it, I should say, at Cyclone Alerts.

Alec Busse from Cyclone Alert, part of the 24-7 Sports Network, joins the show, as always, to break down Iowa State's matchup here, this time against the Mountaineers of West Virginia, making their way into town for a big, big 12 game here this Saturday.

Alec, always appreciate the time.

How are you doing this week?

Certainly appreciate you giving me the opportunity to talk about that.

Yeah, absolutely.

It's Alec Bussey from Cyclone Alert.

Part of my conversation with him from earlier today, my full conversation, not part of it, the whole thing.
