Alba

If somebody was picking up the book with no prior knowledge at all, what kind of reading experience would you want to prepare them for?

Well, first of all, one of the main characters of the novel is Alba de Tamble, who in The Time Traveler's Wife was a baby and a small child.

When we first encounter Alba in Life Out of Order, she's in her early 20s.

She's at a party and she's with all her friends.

So we meet all her friends.

It happens to be the night that she meets her soon to be husband, Zach.

But the purpose of the party, the party is a little bit different than what it first appears.

Alba and her friends are trying to catch some neo-Nazis who they know to be very dangerous people.

And it is a sequel to The Time Traveler's Wife.

And this time we are following Alba de Tamble, who is the time traveling daughter of Henry and Claire from the first book.

So we are going to get her side of the story.

I don't think really her story with her parents as much, but like her as an adult and navigating being a time traveler as her dad was.
