Now last week I caught up with a number of Ireland players out at the High Performance Centre in Abbottstown.

Lots of really great discussions here with the likes of Eve Higgins, Anna McGann, that uncapped player Beth Buttermer and Robin O'Connor who took the Six Nations by storm this year.

And I think it showed at the weekend how many defensive tackles she made to hold Leinster out.

And I think herself and Alana McInerney is not far behind her.

And then Aoife Corey, they work so well as a back three, so well together.

And we have argued so many times that Alana McInerney would love to have her at 13.

But when those three work so effectively together because they play together at so many different levels.

it's hard to kind of to to you know mix up or or pull them apart just they're so incredibly effective um Kaylon what stood out to you there's a difference for me first half to second half I know my heart was in my mouth edge of my seat felt sick at halftime kind of wondering you know very much wearing a red jersey at the time.

I love a power winger and that is what she is.

And she has real potential, I think, at an international level.

But seven player-players taking part in that game.

It was obviously Aoife Corey and Alana McInerney, Chis McGuero, Siobhan McCarthy Eilish Cahill Clodagh Halloran and Sally Kelly so a big big collection of Clare players involved obviously across the series has been quite successful for all Sally Kelly with her first year playing at the senior level of interprovincial rugby and really making a name for herself and showing her strength and abilities across the field and I'm pretty sure it won't be long before we see her in the green of Ireland at senior level too because she's one of these players that's just fantastic then of course obviously Aoife Corey taking on the role as captain while Maeve O'Gallery was injured so Aoife captain and is tied for two games Maeve O'Gallery was back this past day for the final which was great for her and I suppose it took a little bit of pressure off Aoife going into that final game but she seemed to be well able to handle it in the previous two matches.

Equal playing well across the game, carried really, really superbly, some great tackling.

Munster's defence overall was fabulous.

Alana McInerney across the whole competition with about five tries, I think it was.

She got a hat-trick in one match.

She's been on fire and she's been rewarded for that sort of form with the call up to the Ireland training squad ahead of the WXV series for Ireland in October November so that's great for her also called up of course Eilis Cahill Eilis again also contributed in a try in Munster's victory over Leinster in that first round match and I mean she just makes such a difference around the field she's She's got super strength.

Number 13, Lucia Lin.

Number 14, Alana McInerney.

And their fullback, number 15, Aoife Corey.

Onto their bench, you have number 16, Emma Dunican.

I think she's going to be hot in our heels.

We're going to have to make sure we lock her down as well.

And then last but not least, Alana McInerney scored a very dominant hat-trick there against Connacht in Round 3. so you know up at the outside center there originally now on the wings so there's definitely speed of play very strong player very well built and you know i often say low technically should have been an outside center because he was so strong and maybe he wasn't as fast and you're seeing the opposite here you're seeing someone who is strong enough to be an outside center being put onto the wing so very very clinical we need to make sure that she does not get her click in there But look, the form coming in there, I think we're chasing a third title.

We don't want to have Munster have a clean sheet the whole way across.
