End of the decade.

Yeah.

And so the question is, do we want to be Chicken Little or Paul Revere? I mean, in American parlance.

Fact is that it's going to create jobs as well as displace jobs.

Will there be a displacement? Yeah, just like with the American Revolution and the Industrial Revolution and the Digital Revolution, this will be a displacement.

But such is life.

You know, you don't stop caterpillars from becoming butterflies unless you kill them.

How do we, I guess, still create value and how do we make our skills still more valuable to the marketplace as well in this era and beyond?

And whether it's the documentation

aspect, it's all the billing aspect, it's that all the portal and inbox messaging that goes on.

I think a lot of that work can be augmented through AI and removed through AI.

The fighting of insurance denials, the prior authorizations, filling out forms, that kind of work in AI should be able to take over.

And to me, virtually every single provider that I know of will embrace that.

The question always becomes, how could AI help out to find those patients that either need help, need encouragement, need our care team to be involved? And let's think about all of those wearables and intelligence that's out there.

What do we do? That's where I think AI can augment the work of that care team and the panels that we've got.

And now they're doing better.

Yeah.

That's true.

I mean, people, they fear that there's going to be a bad reaction.

My father was a paratrooper in World War II.

He jumped out of low-flying planes into enemy guns, and people were shooting at him.

I've never walked into a buyer's office, for example, in my profession, and had anyone shoot at me, nor have I had them take money from me, right? And so, you know, you see in cartoons, a big lever and a trap door where it drops people down.

That doesn't exist either.

And so can you talk about what you refer to as the permission gauge? Because sometimes we're either outraged to the point of acting out or we're outraged to the point of being frozen.

What's drawn you to, to even write about this? I know you write about this a lot and talk about with clients.

Well, you know, I, I advise people all over the world.

I still have a very active practice.

And, uh, when people have made it to a certain extent, and for some people that could be, uh, a half million, for some people it's three million, for some people it's 10 million, uh, they start to ask themselves how much is enough? Uh, that's, that could be, you know, a very sort of, um, existential question, but it shouldn't be.

Uh, and the fact is that you don't keep accumulating.

Uh, you don't keep collecting.

And so I wrote some things down here, 'cause it's so important, from my book.

Yeah.

Um, I'll, I'll stay away from self-esteem and things like this.

Uh, I'm gonna, I'm gonna pick the following.

Uh, the New York Knicks are a basketball team, professional basketball team, and they just won the championship for the first time I think in about, uh, 25 years.

And New York is a sports town, so it's unusual th- 'cause their football teams have won, their hockey teams have won, whatever, but not their basketball team.

So they finally won, and today they have their ticker tape parade down the, d- down the Canyon of Champions in Manhattan.

10,000 police, larger than many nations' armies.
