Um, quant-- Contrary to the title of Alan Sokal's, uh, essay in the magazine Social Text, nothing about quantum gravity paved the way toward a transfer-- transformative hermeneutics, and nothing about quantum gravity, uh, would enable one to transgress intellectual boundaries in cultural studies.

Nevertheless, this was the core argument of this article that, uh, editors of Social Text, a academic journal published by Duke University Press, published in the summer of 1996.

It was an article jam-packed with nonsense.
