Why Rhodesia?

Well, I'd never actually heard of Rhodesia, sudden Rhodesia as it was then.

But my cousin was coming over to get married and I got talking to her and her fiancé, then husband.

And things happened at the same time.

I was an apprentice and the apprentice who was a year ahead of me had come to visit.

And he was in the RAF and I had always been interested in aircraft.

And I said, what sort of aircraft are you? He said, I don't go into the aircraft.
