Alan Oken

My first thought with the first poem you read about labor sparked something in me.

Before our conversation, I was reading a little Alan Oken on astrology and reminding myself that the Pisces constellation has the two fish and the star at the base of the two fish is called, I think, I might be mispronouncing that, but it means the cord.

And so there's this sense for me of cord connection, umbilical cord, and the labor that starts in Pisces as we're rebirthed in Aries.

So just that idea of labor or labor into the other side.
