From your experience, what would be the most common mistakes drivers make when encountering horses on the road? And why can these mistakes create such significant risks?
10:35
Well, there has been some research done on this, you know, with some academics that have put some reports in and it comes out every time is exactly the same.
10:44
But the reasons why there are so many incidents with horses is because of the speed of the vehicles passing.
10:52
There's also road rage.
10:54
I mean, 22 percent of those of last year's 2800 incidents reported to us were as a result of road rage.
11:02
And also driver misunderstanding of the control that the rider may have of the horse or actually misunderstanding what they see ahead of them as to what the horse is doing.
11:14
So, yeah, we're here to talk about that as well.
