I was looking at a company yesterday.

One of ours is building rare earth minerals in Alameda, California.

I'm going to go down and check out a microreactor in a little bit.

I get to just, people pitch me.

My clean date is 5-22-26.

I attend meetings in the East Bay area of California, and my home group is the It Works group on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. in Alameda.

Now, small little tip too, if you actually go out to the Richmond side, Richmond also has a marina that could be a great location for you too.

Now, ultimately, it comes down, as you can see, to you and your lifestyle, where you're working, what you want to be close to your budget, your commute, the weather, because just like any area of the country, every area will have a combination that may work specifically for your situation.

It's a lovely place.

It's run by a retired ferry boat captain.

The book, while fiction, is inspired by Maria's grandparents' lives in Amsterdam during World War II.

When Maria discussed the book from her home in Alameda, California earlier this month, she explained the significance of placing a blackbird in the story and in the book's title.

Well, interestingly enough, the blackbirds, at least here in California, I've never been to Arkansas.

I've never been to the Ozarks.

And I knew that I wanted its shape to be a blackbird because that blackbird had inspired my grandmother and my mother so many decades earlier during that grim hunger winter.

Maria Van Lieshout's graphic novel is Song of a Blackbird.

She talked from her home in Alameda, California earlier this month.

She'll be visiting the University of Arkansas campus and discuss Song of a Blackbird as a guest of the College of Education and Wellness Clinic for Literacy.

And this is their self titled album also called Meadow.

They're a four piece band from Alameda, California that formed back in 2023 ish.

And the self titled album is self release.

It's their debut full length album in general.
