... one, one thing to say about this too is that I think, um, you know, Nathan, you mentioned Beckett, but I would think of repetition with someone like, you know, Robbe-Grillet as well, and his novels are just, like, I mean, cool ideas, but they can be incredibly boring and, like, tedious on a readerly level.

Um, whereas I think, like, what- Um, and I'll maybe use Nathan's term here, transcendent.

What makes the book transcendent is that there's a, there's like a, there's a, um, reversal, right? Like there's, you're, you're conveying this repetition, this like truly pummeling and kind of harrowing sense of not only, you know, maybe boredom and tedium, but also danger at times, right? And like all these difficulties.

Right.

And keeping the survival at the forefront and keeping a foot into like the, the... 'Cause there was probably a lot of like repetition of like rants, like justifying my weakness and failures like throughout that I was just like, "Shut the fuck up." You know, s- making the same, you know, or being bitter about the whatever.

There was, you know, so, so a- yeah, and like what about like I didn't know, I never knew that that's how you say Rob- Robbe-Grillet.

I actually haven't read him, but I know that name.
