Alabama Community College System

Alabamians looking to start a new career or build skills for a better job now have more options through the state's community colleges.

The Alabama Community College System is expanding its Skills for Success program with seven new workforce training courses.

The courses are developed by the ACCS Innovation Center, working directly with businesses and industry experts.

The seven new offerings include training for paver and screed operators, shuttle buggy operators, drone operators, asphalt lab technicians, veterinary assistants, biotechnicians, and a course focused on customer service skills.

It's all of the above.

Today we're going to be announcing at Calhoun Community College a program partnership, the first of a kind with the Alabama Community College system in order to make AI skills training available for the ACCS schools all across the state to make sure that students coming up through manufacturing related programs have access to our AI skills for manufacturing training suite to give them the fundamental skills they need to know how these tools can help them on the factory floor.

We're also talking to companies.

We're just rolling it out today.
