Al-Mulk

Bismillah is my door.

Tabaraka, Surah Al-Mulk, are my walls.

That means that all these things like that Allah speaks about in Surah Tabaraka, they are all my walls.

Yasin is my roof.

I'm getting the reward of every single letter ten hasana.

I'm getting the reward of qiyam all night, and I'm getting the reward of reciting Surah Al-Mulk, which is also a protection from the punishment of the grave.

Allahu Akbar.

How long does it take? Ten minutes maximum.

It's like the language is even more synchronized with the larger imagery of the passage or the surah at hand, right? And that's part of the beautiful tapestry of the Quran.

Somebody als- also asked me a very important question about this, which was, I-- Remember in the beginning of this series, I told you about how there's correlations and correspondences between Surah Al-Mulk and Surah Al-Jinn and...

Right? And one of those correspondences was Allah mentioned that he will test people by removing water, and he will-- Here he will test people, test the jinns and others by giving them water.

By giving them water ：“Li naftinahum feeh.” So somebody said, "What, what are you get-- What are you trying to get at? Like what do you get from that?" So okay, so you made this observation.

"Yabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu 'amala." Allah said this in Surat Al-Mulk.

He... to test you who's gonna do best.

Like do best in what? In everything in your life.

That when, when they're asked, you know, they're, they say, "Yes, we did.

We, we heard." You know, uh, I, I'm always-- I remember, um, this, this ayah in Surah Al-Mulk that, that we read and, and it's like the angels are asking people when they have to put them in hell.

Mm-hmm.

"Didn't you, didn't you get a messenger?"

Between two Muslims.

And so he says, and this was not like the fighting of you, ala al-mulk, over leadership.

So he's indicating here that what's in the inside of many people who are stoking this, and there's obviously ijtihad from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ that we respect, Ibn Zubayr, radhiAllahu anhu, Hussein, radhiAllahu anhu.

There is certainly an ijtihad that they made here of the shahr of the Umayyads being worse than the shahr of fighting Muslim versus Muslim and the dhulm that is coming from there.

And when she read Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat one hundred and fifty-five to one hundred and fifty-seven, 'And certainly, we shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun, the patient, who when afflicted with calamity say, "Truly, to Allah we belong, and truly to Him we shall return." They are those on whom the salawat from their Lord and receive His mercy.' And it is they who are the guided ones.

And in the second ayah of Surah Al-Mulk, who has created death and life that He may test you, which of you is best in deed? And He is the Almighty, the Oft-Forgiving.

And lastly, ayat five and six of Surah Inshirah.

Verily, with hardship, there is relief.
