Al Gross

There's going to be a tsunami.

But if you look back historically at polls, when they've had the Democrats ahead in places like Texas and even Alaska, they showed Dan Sullivan and Al Gross were a lot closer.

I think the polls were showing three or four points.

Dan ended up beating him by 14 points in 2020.

So there was, you know, Alaska, Arizona, Kansas, that was actually my first crossing of paths with what was then called Flip the West.

I was deputy campaign manager for Al Gross up in Alaska, and one of our supporters came in and said, I got this handwritten postcard and drawings on it, and it was very warm message.

And I was like, oh, that's really cool.

But where in the world did that come from? And so that was the 2020 cycle.

You have, you have a finite amount of resources and it does make sense for you to put them into races that are quote unquote gettable.

Right.

At my background, you know, so I was deputy campaign manager for Al Gross.

He was an independent.
