Al Calderon

He had good scenes, so not mad at this one at all.

Would have loved to have seen maybe Jasmine Burke or Al Calderon, but

it wasn't their year.

Now we're going to talk a little bit about the Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Jeannie Francis.

Brayden Bruner as Emma.

Al Calderon as Javier on Days.

Alice Halsey as Rachel on Days.

Gio on...

Get ready for it.

All right.

Nick, what about you? I

said Tamara Tooney.

That's my second pick.

And I think I may stick with Tamra Tooney.

All right.

What about you, Ariat?

Oh, that sucks.

Al Calderon, I guess he's the one who plays Javi.

He was nominated.

Him and the girl, Alison Halsey, that played Rachel, they were nominated.

Wait, which Javi got nominated?

The original Javi.

Al Calderon or whatever.

Al Calderon,

So let's kick things off.

With outstanding emerging talent in a daytime drama series, the nominees are Al Calderon, Days of Our Lives, Alice Halsey, Days of Our Lives, Giovanni Mazza, General Hospital, Amber Michelle, Beyond the Gates, and Ariel Perpetit of Beyond the Gates.

Jillian, who do you have for your pick?

Amber! Amber! I'm shutting it down.

Josh? This is usually the first acting award of the night and oftentimes shows the progression of how things are going to go.

I agree.

I think Amber Michelle should win with a side of Al Calderon, but I think Amber Michelle should win.

I think Giovanni Mazza is going to win.

Um, I'm, I'm going with, with, with Giovanni Mazza.

Um, but I also think Al Calderon has, has submitted some really powerful stuff with his storyline where he basically talks about his dead daughter.

Um, you know, never underestimate.

And this is one category where I, I swear to God, you know, I fancy myself as being a pretty good evaluator of reels and I've done pretty well in terms of predicting based on reels, except in younger actors.

Sometimes there were some times where Daniel Montgomery and I would go through the younger actor reels and we would be so in agreement about what was going to, who was going to win.

And then we would be stunned with like, really? They picked that? What? Um, so, uh, I'm still going with Giovanni Mazza, but, uh, definitely a possible uh upset and if there is i think it's i think i think al calderon

yeah i know nothing about this category um uh i think uh i'll probably also will go to giovanni mazza because um he also shares scenes with amanda seton and he goes through like his own like um his own journey and arc when he realizes, like, he was adopted and his mother gave him up and, you know, all that soap opera stuff.

So, yeah, I'll probably also go with him as well.
